In response to a press release announcing the completion of construction at Rainier Beach, KUOW’s Ruby de Luna got in touch with us requesting to interview staff at the
Jen Kantor, Mental Health Provider at Rainier Beach High School
clinic about the work that they do. She was especially interested in the mental health services supported by the City of Seattle Families and Education Levy in light of the recent tragic events at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
Rainier Beach staff were able to arrange interviews with one current and one former student to discuss their experience using the clinic. The story aired on the radio Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Partial transcription and online streaming are available on KUOW’s website.
