Bringing Mindfulness into the Classroom

The Seattle Times recently profiled work done at Roosevelt, Nathan Hale, and Ballard High Schools (each of which have a school-based health center) to promote mindfulness among students. The article highlighted the impact of mindfulness on student mental health and discussed how SBHC staff, school nurses, and school staff at Roosevelt came together to implement coordinated mindfulness practice into the school day.
