Family Planning Only (Formerly “Take Charge”) for Undocumented Residents

As of January 1, 2020 Washington residents who are undocumented are now eligible to enroll into the Family Planning Only Program (no longer called Take Charge).

Additional information:

• Apple Health for Children goes through age 18 (regardless of immigration status).  Once undocumented students age out of Children’s Medical they are potentially eligible for the Family Planning Only program.
• The Public Health–Seattle & King County Access and Outreach team is here to help you if you have any questions on eligibility, training or processing applications.   Please contact Callista Kennedy, Program Manager for school-aged health for more information.
• Access and Outreach staff can also attend agency staff meetings to discuss eligibility further.
