As you may be aware, in lieu of hosting in-person professional development (PD) during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are partnering with the Washington School-Based Health Alliance to offer community of practice and training webinars for SBHCs statewide during school year 2020-21. In addition to our PD calendar, King County school-based health center (SBHC) staff are invited to join their colleagues and Public Health–Seattle & King County for our informal Coffee Connections series. These will take place the first Friday of every month from 9-10am. An Outlook invite will be sent to partners–please contact us or your manager if you do not receive it.
These sessions will provide an informal platform for you to connect with King County colleagues working in SBHCs. There will be a guiding topic and some prompts for small group discussion. Mainly though this will be a time for collective learning, sharing, and networking.
