In lieu of hosting in-person professional development during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are partnering with the Washington School-Based Health Alliance to offer community of practice and training webinars for SBHCs statewide during school year 2020-21.
WHEN: Tuesday, January 12, 11am-noon
TOPIC: Case Study of Student-Led SBHC Start-Up During COVID-19
Join Public Health–Seattle & King County and the Washington School-Based Health Alliance for a panel of Nova High School Students, school staff and SBHC staff from Country Doctor Community Health Centers to learn about their unique student engagement in SBHC advocacy, planning and start-up during the pandemic. Nova High School is a nontraditional, social and racial justice high school in Seattle where students have been leaders in advocacy for, design and implementation of their new SBHC to serve student needs.
