Through this RFA opportunity, Public Health – Seattle & King County will fund the delivery of pediatric vaccinations through community-based clinics. Clinics will be held in partnerships with school districts and with community- and faith-based organizations. Awardees must serve children through age 18 and must offer COVID vaccines as well as all vaccines required for school entry and flu vaccine. The intended beneficiaries are underinsured and uninsured community members, low-income communities, Black and Indigenous communities, communities of color, immigrant and refugee communities, and/or communities unable to access immunizations and other healthcare services due to structural and institutional barriers, including fear of deportation, language, transportation, and/or technology access. To be eligible for this funding, Applicants must be enrolled in BOTH the Washington State Childhood Vaccine Program (CVP) and the Washington State COVID-19 Vaccine Program.
