It Starts with You(th): Survey for Youth Leaders and Youth-Serving Organizations

In an effort to highlight new and creative ways school-based health staff are engaging youth in conversations around health and well-being, we are starting a series called It Starts with You(th).

Did you know the National School-Based Health Alliance has a monthly Youth Development Digest? Subscribe here! The Youth Development Digest (YDD) was designed with young readers in mind. From promoting upcoming events to showcasing powerful youth in our country, YDD is a resource that highlights current topics, issues, and opportunities for young people today.

There are also always opportunities for you or your organization to be featured in future digests! Just submit your blog posts, youth spotlight nominations, event dates, and webinar offerings to SBHA’s online portal.

Additionally, SBHA has launched a survey for youth leaders and youth serving organizations. SBHA is working to create a network that allows youth, youth serving organizations, and school-based health centers from across the country to connect for collaborations and to maintain relationships.

If you are a youth leader or youth advocate for a youth group or youth serving organization (Youth Advisory Council, youth representation on a school health committee, peer education, etc.), SBHA asks that you please fill out our short 5 minute survey so they can learn more about you and the work you do. Please feel free to send this survey around to anyone who would be relevant!
